The Role
We are looking for an experienced Account Director with a passion for social media and content creation to lead our Client Services team and join our rapidly growing agency working with an exciting portfolio of national and international brands.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with our creative, production, strategy, and social teams to execute impactful social content and paid media campaigns while strategically balancing commercial priorities and identifying growth opportunities.

You will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service by anticipating and managing client needs, managing internal resources, ensuring successful project delivery, maintaining profitability, and continually exceeding expectations, consistently going above and beyond to represent our agency.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary day-to-day contact for retained clients, working with internal teams to deliver successful content campaigns, ensuring projects are on time, on budget, and aligned with client expectations.
- Provide regular updates and reporting to clients via email, calls, and meetings, offering strategic recommendations and insights at every stage of their campaigns.
- Lead creative briefings, manage resources across multiple departments, and oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure creative and strategic excellence.
- Manage and develop strong client relationships, proactively addressing needs, resolving issues, and maintaining high client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee team management and growth, ensuring effective planning, resourcing, and integration with the operations manager to optimise processes and deliver high-quality results.
- Lead on renewals and pitches for new business and scope for additional work, while collaborating with the sales team.
- Maintain accountability for successful project delivery, including financial management, risk assessment, and alignment of project decisions with commercial targets.
- Drive continuous improvement in client service by implementing best practices, exploring new tools, and facilitating strategic conversations with internal and external teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 + years agency experience in client services/account management role, with a proven track record of retaining, developing and growing accounts.
- Able to manage multiple accounts and work-streams, ensuring resources & budgets are effectively allocated and projects stay on track.
- Experienced in managing accounts with organic social & paid social media spend. OOH & TVC campaign delivery a bonus.
- Ability to understand and interpret clients’ requirements instantly.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Highly organised and autonomous.
- Confident and articulate, with the ability to voice and share ideas and opinions both internally and with clients.
- Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Strong creativity with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confident in your own abilities.
- Great team player with a client-centric focus and possess the ability to build strong and effective working relationships.
- A problem solver who is proactive, driven and ultra-organised.
- Self-motivated and ambitious
- Great sense of humour and positive attitude.
£45,000 - £55,000 p/a dependent on experience plus benefits.
